(Allen, Tex.) – Former Collin County Libertarian Party Chair Jim Prindle has announced his candidacy for the
U.S. House of Representatives 4th District of Texas. The 4th District is home to such famous patriotic Americans as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Sam Rayburn, and Audie Murphy, and it comprises North Collin, Fannin, Grayson, Rockwall and 11 other east Texas counties.
“I favor a small, limited government,” said Prindle, Ft. Worth native and current Allen resident, “based on fiscal responsibility, free market capitalism and the right to live life without government intrusion.” Prindle earned his Bachelor’s in Political Science from USC. He gained invaluable experience working in Washington, D.C., for Congressman Bill Richardson. He also served as a Center Fellow for the Center for the Study of the Presidency.
Prindle proudly served for the US Army and received the National Defense Service Medal when he completed his tour of duty. “I believe in a strong national defense, secure borders, and the right to keep and bear arms,” Prindle, a professional business owner and proud father said, “I admire and respect all our service men and women and never miss the opportunity to thank them for their service.” As Congressman for the U.S. House of Representatives 4th District of Texas, Prindle will work to get the country back to its roots and back to what the founding fathers intended for the nation.
