Libertarian Manifesto – Part Five

This is the fifth installment of the Libertarian Manifesto of Collin County Libertarian Party member Albert Meyer. Albert has been kind enough to share this with us. We hope you find it useful.

Point Five

The tax system needs to be reformed, but that is what the other parties also promise, although they never get around to doing it – pure political posturing. We will do something concrete. We will exempt all earnings below $40,000 a year. That means, students who work, sometimes two or three jobs, to get themselves through college or young people starting off in life will not have to pay their meager earnings over to Washington. Ultimately, we want to abolish income tax, a form of indentured servitude.
